Ikea Sundvik drilling jig

Ikea Sundvik drilling jig

thingiverse

A small drilling jig for customizing the Ikea baby bed sundvik. There are some adapter feet to set the bed higher, but the easiest is certainly to fix the slatted frame higher. Since there was no gauge for this, I quickly constructed and printed one. With this gauge, the slant hole can be attached. Simply mark the desired height on the side, fix the drilling jig with a screw clamp and drill with a 5mm drill bit. A depth stop or a marker on the drill is recommended (18mm drilling depth and 15mm thickness of this gauge). Of course, there must still be enough space to the top so that the child does not roll out. I printed it with PLA, 4 contours, 0.2mm visible thickness and 20% infill -> no problems. Should someone edit it, I would adjust the angle again something. Right now it's 75°, but that doesn't seem to make it exact. But it is perfectly sufficient and the bed holds.
