I had to replace my old hard drive (3,5" HDD) in my iMac so i decided to put in an SSD instead of a new HDD. It's the 2015 version (EMC 2834), but this bracket schould fit in any iMac. For the Replacement I followed the instructions of ifixit. You'll also need two screws (I used M3x3,5 which were delivered with my SSD), to mount the SSD on the bracket.
