Immortan Joe Accurized Articulated Jaw Covid 19 Edition

This is a resculpted and articulated version of the Immortan Joe Mask. This will take some work for proper fit, but will function well as intended. You'll also need to mirror the hose connector for the right side version, and most slicers have a mirror function. You also need to print two each of the strap slots and caps. To fit, you want to measure the width of your face at your cheekbones. The mask width should be that plus 10-20mm (the original mask is about 20MM wider than that, for reference.) Once you scale the face mask up, use that same scale increase on all the other parts so they all fit together properly. I printed the face teeth up, and the jaw aligned with the buildplate. The stapslots should be printed flat, and the caps with the circular indentations facing up. Optionally, I'd provided some hose adapters that will allow you to fit a 20mm hose onto the hose connectors. To assemble, sand the peg holes and pegs to slide smoothly on the face, jaw and strap slot holes. also check fitment of the caps to make sure they fit onto the end of the pegs. (sand the peg ends, not the cap indentations.) Slide the face pegs into the Jaw, slide the strap slots onto the face pegs, and then glue the caps onto the peg ends. The strap connections can tilt up so the back strap goes up over your ears. There are circular indents in the face, and you want to glue the hose adapters to those with the peg facing down as shown.. also make sure the holes in the sides of them face the middle of the face so you can add some L shaped fire or tubes as shown. There are two holes in the hose connectors, and those are for a L shaped copper tube on the original mask... so bent cuts of a coat hanger work perfectly for that. You'll also need to add some elastic or stretch fabric connecting the face to the jaw so it closes once opened... I would just hot glue some 1" wide strips of stretch fabric connecting the face and jaw behind the hose connectors. For better articulation, I'd also hot glue a triangular cut of thicker craft foam to the inside bottom front of the jaw... it'll catch your jaw better for articulation. Lastly, you'll want to wear a back facemask underneath this to hide your face under it. Alos note this is NOT for commercial use, which includes printing it for people on Etsy. I will be taking those down, so don't even waste your time.
