Update 15 Sep 2022: Matt C. has fixed some mesh errors in the original print and allowed me to add his fixed stl to this file. His original fix is here if you want to like that too. Thanks Matt!

A door for Fantasy Flight's lovely Imperial Assault board game. This door has a slot in it so you put the game's cardboard door token in the door when it's closed and remove the token when the door is open. Now you don't have to remove your cool model when the door opens or print both an open and a closed door.

Printing

Print this upside down (h/t digitallimit) with supports under the corners of the top of the door. The buttons and lights might sag a bit depending on your printer, but normal supports will probably cause issues if you try to support the very small buttons with them. If you had a dual-extruder printer, use dissolvable supports to support the small decoration pieces.

Design Notes

I made this in TinkerCAD as my very first CAD project. It took me 40 hours and a half-dozen failed test prints. I've gotten better at CAD but this remains my favorite, and most popular, model.
