Imperial Guard Siegfried Light Tank Proxy

Imperial Guard Siegfried Light Tank Proxy

thingiverse

My first complete vehicle release! A proxy for the Siegfried Light Tank based on several parts here on thingiverse (See remix list) I've made connectors to fit it all together and given the choice of THREE turret mounting options that given different variations in height and bullet traps of the turret and turret ring Needed this vehicle for a modern take on the fantastic White Dwarf scenario "Battle for Glazer's Creek" that featured the Praetorian Imperial Guard against the Ork Hordes responsible for the much larger "Massacre at Big Toof River". This scenario featured a horse-cart with a Heavy Bolter. This tank replaces that with either a dual heavy bolter or autocannon fitted light tank. Designed to print on FDM printers with a build plate as small as 120mmx120mm with all parts printed together Best suited for 0.05mm and 0.1mm layer heights and a 0.4mm nozzle. Watch those bridging options for the best performance and use supports and rafts from the build plate. Ideally use Simplify3D's fantastic dense support options with >72% density near the bridged surfaces <strong>EDIT: Due to a recent number of false or misguided legal claims based on US law (not applicable here in the EU) and a certain online publication determined to force the hand of Games Workshop to move against the 3DP community all search tags related to Intellectual Property have been removed. The thing itself remains as is, as there is no infringement on anyone's intellectual property within the model and any similarities fall under the class of "derivative". GW itself uses derivative law to protect itself from many of it's own risque products or those based on historical or public domain content and any move by the company to complain will not be entertained. The measures i have now put in place are compliant with all EU law covering derivative work, parody, 3rd party parts and related/alternative products (proxies). Additionally, every thing i publish is clearly marked as NONE-COMMERCIAL and remains so at all times, remixes are licensed according to the wishes of the original author(s).</strong>
