Impossible Dovetail Box

Impossible Dovetail Box

Here you go with another piece of impossible seeming geometrical object. This time, I´ve made the (yet impossible but easily openable) Dovetail Box for you! When looking at it fot the first time, almost everyone might classify opening the box as an impossible action. But you don´t even have to change your view towards it for 180 degrees - even 45 degrees are actually enough. That´s simply because the two inserted parts can be easily taken out of each other by sliding them 45 degrees diagonally based on the side edge. And surprise - you´ve opened it! I´ve added a bottom part which is the base of every Dovetail box. From there on, you can go up by systematically adding more and more pieces. There are straight parts (where the object bejond it has the same diagonal orientation as the object above it, like the orange one) and twisted ones (where it is the other way round, like the blue one). There it might be a bit complicated now: If you have used one twisted part, you have to use the "rotated" files for all following parts until you use another twisted one (which also still has to be a rotated one, in order to make them fit perfectly into each other. Mathematically spoken, for all the nerds among you - The twisting level "t" of every box starts with 0 and gets increased by one with every twisted part that gets put onto the box. If "t" is an equal number, you have to use the normal parts, if "t" is odd, you have to use the rotated ones. So, have fun with this box, and please let me know if there is any space for improvement. I´m looking forward to see your boxes here!
