Improved Ender 3 Manual Bed Levelling Procedure

thingiverse

This is a remix of [Ender-3 Bed-leveling procedure](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2874536) but simplified and much faster. **To use it:** 1. Copy the gcode file to your Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro (ignore the .stl file) 2. Turn each of the bed lowering knobs in the "down" direction for a turn 3. On your printer select the "Bedlevel_Ender_3-fast.gcode" file from the SD card and start to "print" it 4. The print head will move to just over the front left levelling knob. Wiggle a piece of paper between the extruder nozzle and the bed then twist the levelling knob in the "up" direction until you can feel it just starting to grip the paper 5. Hit the button on the printer to resume the print and it'll move to the back left, repeat the paper wiggling until you're happy then press resume again. 6. Carry on doing until you've gone to each corner twice then you are finished **The changes to the original Thing are** * All of the X/Y moves are much faster * The Z axis lift is only to 5mm above the bed height * There is no pre-heating of the bed or nozzle * Nothing is printed at the end of the levelling
