A new version that mounts on the aluminium backplate instead of using the same mounting as for the heatsink in the previous version. There are two versions, the only difference is the fan thickness,One version is made for 40x40x20mm fans and one version is made for 40X40X10mm fans. The heat from the heatsink is led away on one side instead of blowing everywhere so that the airflow doesn't intervene with the hotend. The screws are mounted from the backside of the plate's threaded holes which means that the screws are not tighted against the fan shroud as you normally do to mount this thing if that makes any sense. You will need: 6x M3x5.3 brass inserts 4x M3x20 screws 2x M3x16 screws (the length doesn't matter really as long as it is longer than 10mm) OBSERVE! The BL-Touch is not in it's original position. To fix this, tell the printer where it is now by writing a gcode-script and then "print" it on the printer, done! Create a file which contains the following code: ;probe offset M851 X-40 Y-13 M500 be sure to save the file as a ".gcode" If you don't change the probe offset when you use this design the bed-probing will be slightly off and will not give you the optimal bed-mesh. tell me what you think!
