So I edited the original models in Fusion360 to make the bottom 0.2mm base of the pyramid solid. This ensures that Cura prints the bottom of the pyramid as a solid, concentric layer in vase mode.

Filament: YOUSU Silk Dual Color PLA

Printing Settings (Cura 5.1.0):

Layer Height: 0.19 mm

Surface Mode: Normal

Spiralize Outer Contour: ✓

Smooth Spiralized Contours: ✓

When I set the layer height at the normal 0.2 mm, I would have strange travels and extrusions in random layers of the print, even if vase mode was on. However, all of those glitch layers would disappear when using a layer height of 0.19mm, which would be visually the same:

I recommend that you go through the layers after slicing to make sure it's truly printing in vase mode. Happy printing!
