(Note: there are 2 versions of the design, one with and one without an eyelet; the eyelet version also adds further support at the major corners and 10 degrees more capture of the tripod feet.) A simple clip to keep the legs of the Giotto tripod from splaying while carrying. While the Giotto has a strap that can be used to form a noose around the tripod's feet, it's easily dislodged and a bit finicky to wrap around the legs. Hopefully this clip will prove to be easier to use. The rather odd shape of the clip is to minimize any shear the potentially weaker parts of the clip would face. To use, I find that it's best to put thumb and finger behind two of the clips and lock them in, then finally clip in the third. The eyelet version is to allow for attaching a leash to the clip. I oriented the eyelet such that a CW locking orientation of the clip causes the eyelet to face the tripod. For those that wish for a CCW locking orientation, simply pass your leash through the central hole and attach to the eyelet.
