Most of the vise parts are quite durable, but this part was very easy to break while assembling. I made another sliding jaw that has a lot more support for the threaded columns (internally and externally). Instead of 90 degree intersections on the outside of the columns you have rounded sections. Internally is just a basic fill. This will work with the rest of the original design without issue.
