The enhanced lock ring features longer pins and a back tab for improved stability during cryptex opening and closing procedures. To attach, align pins and press downwards before twisting gently; the ABS material allows smooth installation. Removal involves twisting until the rear tab disengages from its notch, followed by extracting one pin and then the other while pressing the lock ring towards it for easy removal (simplified: twist, wiggle, and pull).
