Index finger squared tip

Index finger squared tip

Mechanical finger - 1/6/15 this is designed to be directly 3D printed as a solid object, that is able to bend immediately after the removal of the printing scaffolding. It is designed to have two rubber bands attached to the "hook" shapes on the back and a wire/ string run through the channel and attached to the figure 8 on the tip. If done correctly, pulling on the string should bend the finger and releasing tension should return the finger to its normal length (the rubber-bands act as the agonist to the string tendon). I intend to update the finger over time, this is a rough draft.
