This is an indicator light for your bicycle or motor cycle. The light contains one LED, so need two of these to indicate both directions. The design is made such a way that any rain falling on it is guided away. If there is any condensations inside the light, it can drip out. It is important that the light is mounted with the correct side up. The screw holding front &back and the wire exit are located on or near the bottom side.. The light has a back and front that hinge together at the top, and are hold together with a screw on the bottom. In the STL download you find 4 variants of this light. The difference is where the wire enters the light: either side or bottom and left or right The variants are thus: Left side Left bottom wire Right bottom Right side The LED has hardly any cooling , so it can only be turned on a short time like an indicator function. It cannot be turned on for longer time because it will overheat quite quickly. So don't use it as rear light or so. Instructions Print without support in either transparent naturel or transparent orange. I used ABS, but PLA will also work. You need a resistor to limit the current through the LED. I used a 22 ohm resistor at 12v operation. Because I did not have a 1w version in my junk box, I used 3x 68 ohm (1/4w) resistor in parallel. There are nut traps on the back: these are optional. If you like the mounting screw to be fixed to the light, please use them. Needed: front and back printed (with same wire entry position!) 1w Yellow LED (e.g. banggood http://www.banggood.com/Stunning-Highlight-LED-Night-Light-for-Multicopter-p-917959.html order the Yellow one ) 1 m3 nut and m3x10 screw to lock the front and back 2x m3x25? screw+ nut and washers etc for mounting to the frame. limiting resistor some wire The LED is pushed into the T slot. It is does not clamp or is to loose use you solder iron to melt it in place. To make a complete indicator you need a switch on your steering wheel, a flasher relay and a (12v) power source. A happy flashing to you !
