PART OF MY INDUSTRIAL GEARBOX COLLECTION This is a fully 3D printable version of an industrial bevel gearbox / gear reducer. This cutaway version can be used for training purposes, and has a gear ratio of 1:1 (no reduction) Bevel gearsA bevel gearbox is mostly used to redirect the motion of a shaft. You can find these gearboxes in most outboard motors, helicopters and in the differential of most cars. No additional hardware needed! UPDATE 7-16-2018I`ve added a cap that can make the gearbox non-cutaway, see the green parts in the fourth picture. When you want the gearbox to be non-cutaway, you have to print the 2 files named with NON-CUTAWAY.     Print settingsAxleSupport: NoInfill: 40 – 60 %Layer height: 0.1 – 0.3 mm Bevel Gear 1Support: NoInfill: 40 – 60 %Layer height: 0.1 – 0.3 mm Bevel Gear 2Support: NoInfill: 40 – 60 %Layer height: 0.1 – 0.3 mm HandleSupport: NoInfill: 40 – 60 %Layer height: 0.1 – 0.3 mm Housing topSupport: NoInfill: 20 – 40 %Layer height: 0.1 – 0.3 mm HousingSupport: NoInfill: 20 – 40 %Layer height: 0.1 – 0.3 mm StopSupport: NoInfill: 20 – 40 %Layer height: 0.1 – 0.3 mm NON-CUTAWAY capSupport: NoInfill: 20 – 40 %Layer height: 0.1 – 0.3 mm NON-CUTAWAY houseSupport: NoInfill: 20 – 40 %Layer height: 0.1 – 0.3 mm     The clearances of this model are between 0.2 - 0.4 mm (0.008 – 0.016 inch).
