This model shows the Infant Daughter marker after cleaning with D2 solution and water. D2 is a safe, effective way to clean and maintian grave markers. For the first time in many years this headstone is legible and has been granted many more years of preservation. Palms Cemetery in Fort Pierce dates to the late 19th century and served the small town of Ankona, now a part of Fort Pierce. It is still in use by descendents and is the resting place of Florida Governor, Daniel T. McCarty.
