This is a fan-made replica of the "Enlightened" team insignia, from the Google GPS-based game, Ingress. This was made to commemorate the first level 8 portals in Sydney, Australia, being the first ones made in the Southern Hemisphere. Note that this was designed to be printed on a Dual-Exstrusion Replicator 1, hence why it is split into two STL files - one for each colour. NOTE: Google has mentioned this logo (as well as the Ingress hexagon and Resistance logos) should NOT be used in any way that would confuse players as though it were official. I take this to mean (a) do not sell anything with this logo or 3D design, and (b) do not use it to present yourself as an official/employee of Google and/or Niantic. The license of attribution, NC-CC that I've selected seems the best match for fan-made, personal use only. Instructions Refer to your slicing & gcode program of choice for correct and full instructions, as the steps below are for my environment and may not match yours. My designs are face down as that's what produces the best finish - almost glass-like - provided the build plate is suitably level. For ReplicatorG-Sailfish-0039, I usually do the following after design and edge cleanup: a) Load each STL into RepG to confirm position within print area b) Restart RepG and select "Merge .STL files for DualExtrusion" c) Follow the prompts to select the appropriate STL for the appropriate nozzle (to match filament colour), then click Merge and generate the pair of gcode files d) Once the finished file is displayed, modify gCode as desired, build .s3g file onto SD card and print away. Temperatures and the like are machine specific. For reference, I printed at 110'C HBP and 220'C nozzles.
