Injection Pen Carrying Case

Injection Pen Carrying Case

Injection pens are used for insulin (for diabetics) as well as quite a number of other medicines for various health conditions. Often, those medicines need to be taken at specific times of the day or with meals or other conditions where the person may not be at home; therefore, they have to carry the pens, needles, swabs, etc with them. This can be a pain depending on the items they need to bring. This is just a simple little box that allows a person to bring the injection pen and supplies with them in an all-in-one case. There is a clip that holds the pen in the case. Other items can have cotton balls stuffed on top of them (in the 3 holding areas) to keep items from tumbling around, although I did make the walls high enough that items won't move from one area to another. To print this, the STL file has the case open, which will take a build area roughly 170x145. I created the hinge in the middle with some angles so it shouldn't need any supports to print. I know on my machine it did not, and I was printing it with PETG which doesn't like bridging too much. However, I did use a small support for the clip as well as the inset that the clip goes in to. Infill: I used 10% for most of it, but I did increase the infill to 40% for the hinge. Walls: I used 1.2mm for stiffness, except for the hinge where I increased it to 1.6mm.
