The spool holder on top of the Ender 3 doesn't make for a good filament path into the extruder. Since I had no luck finding bearings at my local hardware store to build a spool holder from TV, I decided to borrow a tip from a fellow maker and use 6mm Airsoft BBs for bearing balls. I printed my own bearing races in my quest to make a better spool holder. This Thing is the direct result. Since I've been using exclusively Inland filament, this stand is designed with their spools in mind. The stand, as is, will accommodate up to 70mm wide by 200mm diameter spools just by removing the end spacer. Added mid spacer and frame for top mounting the spool holder if you have a direct drive.
