INMOOV - EYEPIXEL ======================================= Made to give you're InMoov the touch he needs to express his inner emotions. I mean, why wouldn't you want adjustable glowing robot eyes after all right? :D ======================================= - This design is made to fit the Inmoov - LifeCam EyeballSupport holes. - Requires - x2 Neopixel ring - 8 bit - No raft or support needed unless noted. - Wiring - You will be running both neopixels from the same pin using a Y connection. As seen in the images, I added a larger piece of unheated heat shrink to slide over the wires to help adjust the wire slack. ======================================= ///Piece notes/// - Middle Base - Keeps the original InMoov eye look more or less. - Some light will hit the camera lens, but does not affect it enough to impact face tracking etc. - Middle BaseLong - No light will hit the camera lens (IF PRINTED IN BLACK... white amplifies light hitting it), but you will lose a little bit of camera outer corners. You will also gain a cool light reflection effect on it. - Middle Short/Extension - A combo of the two. The extension pushes in with your finger and can be removed fairly easily. - Left/Right Bottom - The opening gives you plenty of room to solder and apply hot glue. I would suggest using hot glue on this as the eyes move around and depending on the wires you use could come loose. Mine certainly did when I was using thin wires. :9 - Left/Right - Top - you may wish to print with support as it is designed to be printed that way. I personally didn't because I found it easier to print without and cut out the few strings than removing the support on the insides. You can decide which is best for you. You won't need support on anything else. - QuarterRing (Optional) - This helps to reduce light hitting InMoov's nose. If you decide to use Middle - Long/Extended it is not needed. It is glued/acetoned onto the inside of TopRing1. See picture for placement. - TopRing1&2 - Slightly reduced X&Y axis from Gael's original designs on the Inmoov website to help them fit easier. ======================================= ///Suggested/// This piece was made to be printed in black for the most part to keep light exposure off the pupil camera. Later the shorter middle pieces were added to be able to maintain the original InMoov eye look. Printed in white or light colors do not work very well for the camera, however they do look insane and pretty funky if you so desire that look. Enjoy! ======================================= - Hoping to have this as an Inmoov function soon. Gael is helping me work that out now. I shall update here when there is progress with that. :)
