Many Thanks to -Mr Gael- "Inmoov" Designer Forearm’s- Part-A -Part-B-“ Plus” Upper and Lower Wrist This Mod joins the Four smaller sections into Two-,, the forearms total height is just under 200mm high,,, so make sure you can print this high before starting !!, I have included the small section pieces if you can’t print that high, the bolt hole has been reduced to 5mm to increase strength- the pictures give you all the information you need there is no change to the actual design except for the 5mm bolt hole, and 2.2mm extension to reduce the angle and add a bit more strength,, all pieces where hand joined and are error free- the Bicep servo mount has been modded to have a 5mm hole to match the forearms- Slow down the printing speed due the small Footprint and because how tall it is, but also because it Is a thin object the infill will have short rapid movement this will make the object become unstuck if they became too violent so set infill speed to- 60mm/sec- and tick the box that allows- “collapse thin lines into single trace which is “on” by default in Sli3er,- there’s a good chance you will get the “Death Shakes” if this is turned off and the infill speed is higher than 60mm/sec- there is a speed setting in Slic3r that is meant to deal with this problem but it’s a “Hit or Miss” when an object is sliced up- I’ve learnt not to Trust it… My Forearms where printed using PLA- ED3v6-- 0.4mm Nozzle Layer Hight -0.3mm Layer Default Width-0.5 Perimeters -2 - both@ 40mm/sec- Infill- 100% @ 60mm/sec Brim- 15 Loops- 3-Layers high Reducing the printing speed on some object makes only a small difference on printing time, same as using 100% infill- it will only use a few extra meters of filament- this is one of them Objects, it’s worth taking the time to do right- The" Upper" and" Lower"- Wrists (pic-9) have had the walls thickened In certain sections due to bleeding in the walls at some spots (Horizontal Scarring ) this was probably a result of my printing setting and not a fault of the part- but the part is a lot stronger now and still compatible with everything else,,, Parts fit together beautifully and very little clean-up is required if you your printing the x4 Short pieces with the 5mm Elbow holes you have to go to the inmoov website to get the -Top Sections- all the parts are backwards Compatible-- SketchUp Files are included with the Download for you to mod - -=Mindless=- *Note- 2--One picture shows all the Mods available in my collection but only the Forearms are included in this download
