Inside Diameter Print Check

Inside Diameter Print Check

thingiverse

This is designed to allow you to check the inside diameters of holes. I find ID's the most troublesome part of 3D printing. There is an axis symbol inscribed into the top surface. Align this with the positive X axis and the positive Y axis so you can keep track of the axes after you remove it. The hole sizes are 1.00", .075". 0.50", 0.25", 0.125", 0.0625, and 0.03125" This is designed with a brim to keep it from lifting from the build plate. The brim does not interfere with measuring, but I usually remove it anyway. The model came in sideways, so rotate it and lay it flat on the build plate.
