Insoles

Insoles

Here is an insole design I made for indoor sport use. I have used them successfully while playing badminton. The first print that I have made appeared surprisingly long lasting. They have already clearly exceeded the lifetime of the purchased insoles I used to use before. Insole size is 42 (EU), the shoe I use is 9 1/2 (US) I printed the thin blue bottom layer from ABS. Then used soft filament (TPU?) for the middle red layer. Finally the black sides I made from NinjaFlex (TPU) which was much softer than the middle layer. I think it would be fine too only to print the top layer without the bottom ABS layers. I will go for this approach once my first pair eventually worn out. My model assumes first print the ABS STL and then proceed printing the soft layer which in the model floats in air. If only planning to print the top layer one needs to offset the model to directly print on the bed.
