I was inspired to create the Go 2 lifejacket after losing a Go 2 camera that was attached to a magnetic mount on my snowboard. Despite completing several previous successful snowboard runs with the Go 2 recording videos from my snowboard, it popped out of the magnetic mount on my last run and was lost on the snow covered slopes. This is a clip that slides over the Go 2 camera when it's attached to a magnetic mount. The clip is easily installed or removed and offers mechanical resistance against the go 2 camera popping out of the magnetic mount. This is useful where the mount is attached to something that may shake or impact sufficiently that the magnetic mount would not hold the Go 2 securely. The most secure method for mounting a Go 2 is to use the Insta360 accessory which physically clamps the camera into a mount when it is attached to a go-pro compatible base -- but this requires fully unscrewing the mount from a base to remove the camera. The Go 2 lifejacket is a convenient and intermediate solution. It offers a more reliable connection between the Go 2 and magnetic mount but is still easy to use. Print this with TPU and approximately 35-40 percent infill See video showing the lifejacket in action: https://odysee.com/@JustMessingAround:d/insta360go2lifejacket:0
