Well, it's quite simple, it is basically a pair of headlights on your bike. There's plenty of single light concepts and actual products you can buy but no integrated headlights system that I know of. There is various advantages to having a set of headlights instead of only one light; two lights offer you a wider range of sight and a more specific light pattern (Going from slightly lit at extreme angles a both light will join to create a beam that would enlighten your path like never before!), that is, if you are in a rural setting. You could also add a flashing option in order for the user to signal if and on which side he intends to turn for when you'd be in the city, and by doing so, increasing the security of the user. The point of having the integrated is for many reasons. The first one being that it couldn't really get stolen, unlike add on lights. Also, it wouldn't ruin the bike's esthetics, it could actually enhance it. And finally, it would just be simpler for the customer, having all his bike's accessories/controls in one spot. Before everyone get these on the bikes from factory, you could always offer it as some sort of case to put on the speed controls/ brakes you already have. There's also many marketing opportunities with this concepts like colors and shapes. As you could easily promote it by organizing a night mountain biking event featuring this product. It might just become mandatory to have flashing signals on bikes in the near future. With the increasing population and the green movement, it might just be the solution to a future problem. And who said biking couldn't be enjoyed widely and safely at night?
