Interactive Wind Pavillion - Group 5.4 Project

Human: Architecture Studio 4 Project - Group 5.4 Our team selected a site smack in the middle of the largely deserted area between Nobby's Beach and Horseshoe Beach. Through our thorough investigation, we uncovered evidence of intense wind patterns and a noticeable absence of human activity on this particular site. Our pavilion cleverly harnesses the wind by incorporating small spinning triangles into its wall panels and roof, while enticing visitors to roam around the space and engage with the structure itself. Moreover, three large cut-out triangles in the wall panels provide a unique perspective, offering breathtaking views from multiple angles. Additionally, the pavilion aims to immerse individuals inside it in an unforgettable experience of light, thanks to transparent textures used throughout some of the wall panels and the roof.
