Interlock

Interlock

At one point I was considering using an interlock for a cane holder or one of my designs like that and I ended up settling on not using the interlock but I still had this laying around in my folder so I wanted to put it as open-source. I used this design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5167450 and essentially cropped it down/ resized it to make an interlock from it After hitting a snag in my hiking sticks holder design, I started thinking about interlocks again. I began working on an interlock of my own design. My objective is to create an interlock that requires two movements in order to release it. Originally I thought of designs with simple block-like shapes but I wanted minimal supports (ie: only supports that would be relatively easy to remove). As a result, I ended up with angles in the designs 1.1 and 2.1 block design (not printed) 1.2 and 2.2 this is possible to remove with an upward motion 1.3 and 2.3 this is possible to remove with a diagonal motion 1.4 and 2.4 in progress - L track created to help avoid removal with diagonal
