A mechanism employing planetary gears features a gear with 17 teeth and a ring with 20. The gear is driven by an eccentric shaft (input), yet it remains stationary as a pin slides within a slot. Consequently, each shaft rotation results in the ring's (output) turn by 3 teeth, equivalent to 3/20 of its full rotation.
