I'm swapping out my MOYIU My Power XYZ controller board for a MKS Base-L and mounting it on the existing metal plate. Once I remove the plate, it becomes clear that its sole purpose is to hold the printer controller in place. Since I need a more advanced controller and the MKS bare board fits perfectly, that's what I've chosen. The original plate isn't designed to support such a large board. There are no mounting holes at the bottom edge where I can drill new ones. This plate bolts into existing holes, allowing everything to fit snugly together. Printed in PLA, with an .STP file included if you'd like to modify the design yourself.
