Design a Water Pump for a Flying Product.My design concept of a Water Pump for a Flying Product.This design shows a complete internal gear pump, assembled on a housing, together with an external electric motor.This complete unit can be mounted and fixed with two screws at a place and a position you want.On the motor mounting two rubber buffers and two washers are assembled for placing and fastening the complete assembly on two screwing domes for any application you want.The screwing domes are not shown in the model.I have been already uploaded this model for a longer time ago. But I think, it could be also interesting for an application like described above.If you scale my design of the water pump (all components wih the same factor) to a larger one - or use the design concept with modified dimensioning - hopefully you can get results, which meet the technical requirements.But if a multiple publishing of a same, previous project is not allowed, please let me know, and in this case I will delete my entry for this challenge.Some technical notes:This model has been already tested for function by using (.stl)-parts, but all of the technical parameters have been not measured or calculated, because my design was for my private use in a model of a radio contolled ship only. In combination with with an electric motor of the type "Johnson DF-651" it works very pretty. The pump supplies a high water pressure for a good function of the water guns on models of fire-fighting boats. The outer diameter of each pump housing is 37 mm and not bigger as of some arm ribbon watches for men.An adaption of a drive can be made individually for your practical application. The clutch bolt is designed as a removal and changeable component without opening the assembly of the »Internal Gear Pump«.The axial fixation of the clutch bolt must be realized by the clutch sleeve of the drive.An electrical motor can be screwed onto the flange of the lower pump housing with four- not shown - additional screws.A proposal of the clutch sleeve is shown in the model.For professional use you can choose the following materials for parts/ components:Gear wheels made of »POM«Housings made of »PBT GF30«Clutch bolt made of »brass« or »stainless steel«Designer's note:The sealing ring for the clutch bolt is modeled as a dummy-part.The threads of the four screws for fastening the upper pump housing are not modeled. The electric motor is modeled as a dummy-part.The model is available in following formats:STEP-file (.stp) of the complete assembly and the native files (.prt) and (.asm) in a (.zip)-folder, for the application software »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
