Intervalometer Pusher Mount (Monoprice Maker Pro)

Hello all! For the longest time I was looking for a way to take SUPER HIGH QUALITY photos for my timelapse videos.....and gopros and webcams weren't doing the trick. After many weeks I finally found a solution! 3D PRINT TIMELAPSE METHOD (DSLR CAMERAS): * You will need an Intervalometer: https://amzn.to/2YZfFSw For those of you who don't know what an intervalometer is, it is basically a handheld remote control with a button that can be pressed to take a photo on a DSLR. * You will need to 3D print a mount to hold your intervalometer in a fixed position on your printer. In my case I have the Monoprice Maker Pro https://amzn.to/2PRT8DY , so I custom designed in CAD this holder which works perfectly for the intervalometer listed above. The second part mounts to the extruder. You will need to mount a small hex key in this part which will be used to "press" the button on the intervalometer. FREE THINGIVERSE STL FILES: Intervalometer Holder ---- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3805523 Hex Key Holder ---- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3805545 * You will need to modify your slicer settings to move to the corner of your 3D printer where your intervalometer is mounted. The steps below will modify your GCODE an inject lines of code to tell the extruder to move to the corner of the bed between each layer to take the photo. I use cura as my slicer. Here is how to modify your settings in cura: CURA Extensions ---- Post Processing ---- Modify Extensions In the "Search" section type ;LAYER: In the "Replace" section type G92 E0 \n G1 E-2 F400 \n G90 \n G1 F8000 X280 Y275 \n G92 E0 \n G1 E-2 F400 \n G1 F400 X290 \n G4 S1 \n G1 F8000 X280 \n G92 E0 \n G1 E2 F400 \n G1 F8000 X275 \n ;LAYER: Make sure that "Use Regular Expressions" is CHECKED That should be all you need!
