Involute Gear with Adjustable Variables

Involute Gear with Adjustable Variables

grabcad

Create an involute gear with customizable parameters defining tooth geometry. Credit goes to Steen Winther's tutorial on involute gears. Adjustable variables include Pitch-Center-Dia, Number-Of-Teeth, Pressure-Angle (set at 20), Clearance-Gap, and Clearance-Radius. Tooth-Height is set as 3.9 times the offset from master layout sketch's OD to avoid interference with mating gear's low points, Clearance-Gap set to zero. Let me know for corrections; next step is bevel gears customization.
