You can use this kit to experiment with forming ionic compounds. The cations have 'studs' on the right hand side of the print. The anions have 'holes' on the back of the left hand side of the print. The number of studs/holes corresponds with the charge on the ion. Match up the right number of each cation and anion so that all the studs have a matching hole. This helps you work out the ionic formula for the compound. Set contains 3 x Li, Na, NH4 F, Cl, Ca, Mg, S, O, CO3, SO4. 2 x Al, N Print bases and labels separately, with contrasting colours. Then press-fit/glue the braille label piece in, and use paint to highlight the print label.
