I decided to enhance the original design by incorporating cutouts for input wires, which led me to implement several other improvements: Thicker walls were added to make the case more robust. A new attachment method was developed to secure the top firmly in place. Additionally, a block was placed over the USB connector to prevent it from shifting out of position. The extra play in the length of the interior was also minimized. The original design served as my starting point, but I completely reworked the model using OpenSCAD, which allowed me to parameterize all dimensions and introduce the ability to generate the top and bottom either separately or together. Update: V2 files - Upon closer inspection, I realized that adding wire slots made the back excessively prone to breaking off. To prevent this, a block was incorporated into the cover for added support, ensuring it wouldn't bend or break. Furthermore, I reduced the size of the block holding the USB connector as it had a tendency to lift the top slightly when plugging and unplugging. In order to simplify future modifications, I also cleaned up some messy aspects in the SCAD file.
