iPad Pro 12.9" Mic Stand Holder

After switching to the iPad Pro 12.9" from the iPad Air 2, I couldn't find a suitable and affordable tablet holder for the larger size. I already had one for the smaller ipads and decided to adapt its design to a larger one. It's a geared design which allows to just place the tablet in the holder and by hand-tightening the bolts, it clamps the tablet to a tight fit. On one of the long sides I added a holder/clamp for the Apple Pencil. Print Settings Printer: CTC Bizer Dual Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% / 90% Notes: All brackets that need to resist some force as the studs, knobs and gears were printed at 90% infill. The others, like the actual tablet holders (in and out slides & center ring) were printed at 25% infill. I used supports on all parts, because it was either needed or gave better results. For the iPad Pro 12.9" you need to print: 1x Center-ring 1x Center Stud 1x Mic Stand Bracket 1x Knob 1x Knob Insert 2x Inner Side Bracket 2x Outer Side Slide 2x Inner Top Bracket 1x (or 2x) Outer Top Slide 1x (or 0x) Outer Bottom Pen Slide 4x Gear M5 4x Slider Knob *) When you don't need the Apple Pencil holder you just use two Outer Top Slides. Post-Printing Assembling You'll need the following parts to complete assembly: For attaching the 4 Inner Brackets to center ring: 12x Allen screw M3x12mm 12x Nut M3 For attaching the MIC Stand Bracket to the Center Stud: 1x M8x30mm hex bolt 1x M8 nut For attaching Center Stud to Center Ring: 1x M8x30mm hex bolt 1x M8 lock-nut (allows for adjuistable tightening of the center ring without the risk of getting lose and adjust the force for turning the tablet from landscape to portrait) For attaching the gears: 4x M5x25mm (or 20mm) hex bolt 4x M5 nut For attaching assembly to a mic stand: In the end you'll need 3/8 thread to screw everything onto a mic stand. I sacrifised the cheapest mic clamp I could get. (Stagg MH-8AH) This had a 5/8 thread bushing inside which I used to press fit into the Mic Stand Bracket. This allowed the use of a standard 5/8-3/8 thread adapter.
