This is a iPhone 5/5s tripod mount designed for a Sunpak 7001 DX tripod with the quick release base. It may work with other tripods as is or with some adjustment. The phone snaps into the mount which locks into the tripod base with the quick release, trapezoidal feature. It extended the life of this older tripod, rather than it getting tossed... ***One feature that you should add...a relief where the top lock button is. I ended up using a small file to add this and never did add it to the file.
