This is a mount for my 5s that I use in my 4runner. My radio connects to the phone but I wanted an easy way to dock it when I get in the car. Now I just drop it in. Just add a M3 screw with a thin hex nut to secure the cable in place. The nut provides stronger threads than just inserting it into the plastic. The dock is secured to car's center console with a strip of 3M double sided tape
