Iphone 6 Car Mount

I made this iphone mount to hold my phone in either the vertical position while playing music in my car, or in the horizontal position to act as my gps. recently I had been having to make many trips up to 7 hours away and I was using my phone as a gps so often it became dangerous to try to hold it and drive this little gadget is great and works great with the slimmer otter box cases. but it can (could) be used without a case on the phone. I uploaded a few different versions of the case. my printer only prints in PLA plastic so when i left my first version of this mount in the car on a hot day in florida it melted to the shape of my dash board. then i tried to make a few different versions to increase strength and stability. whichever version of the sidewalls you decide to use, i affixed the walls with superglue or 5-minute epoxy and the vent hook and its slider component must be attached with glue/epoxy. the slider which makes this mount so easy to turn orientation also makes it great for storage because the hook is robust enough to not warp on a hot day while you can leave the phone holder in the glove box or console. also if you are driving and happen to get a call you can slide the holder off the vent hook and hold the phone just like normal. Print Settings Printer: DaVinci Jr. 1.0 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Excellent Infill: 40% (minimum) Notes: only print out the parts you need. you need a vent hook (unless you drive a toyota you will probably have to modify or make your own vent hook) you will need both sliders a case (or a case and walls) (or a case and the side face sections) don't print out three holsters if you don't have to.
