iPhone Cradle with Sound Ports

iPhone Cradle with Sound Ports

thingiverse

I wanted to have a minimalistic mobile phone stand potentially with a sound reflector/booster. This is originally designed for my iPhone 6 Plus housed in a protective gel case and a standard Apple Lightning charge cable. With its relatively open cradle design, it should be able to accommodate other types of iPhones. The need for adhesive is eliminated. The Apple Lightning cable is fastened with an M3 (~#4-40) screw of about 12mm~15mm length, making its position always adjustable, depending on the phone case you use. The cable is also elastically captured in the bottom groove with no adhesive. The clearance is checked with PLA with 0.3mm layer thickness option. Version 3 reduced the overhang in the bolt counterbore. Download and enjoy! And if you like the build, share your comments or upload your make pictures here.
