Have you ever wanted to attach your iPhone to a KitchenAid mixer? No? Well, now you can thanks to this iPhone Mixer Attachment. Slip the top and bottom onto your iPhone 4 or 4S, slide in the connector and off you go! Check it out in action in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QPNmTISJss Created for the Absurd iPhone Accessory contest sponsored by EngineerVsDesigner and Makerbot Industries. The parametric OpenSCAD file relies on sorup's iPhone4 model (thing 12879) for various constants, but does not use the model itself. It also relies on jag's dovetail module (thing 10269). The curves on the corners of the top case present a bit too much of an overhang for a clean print on my Thing-o-Matic. I've marked this as a work in progress until I come up with a more easily-printed top. Instructions Print the top, bottom, and connector (either separately or using the plate). Slip the top and bottom onto your iPhone 4/4S, then slide the connector into place to hold them together. Attach to any standard KitchenAid mixer. Mix away!
