Also they are in parts to minimize support areas, and reduce time for individual prints. As far as the eye piece, there is a space for lenses to be dropped in. These are NEEDED if you want your eyes to focus on the screen in the proper way and we've built a few now and have the focal length properly adjusted to a 150mm focal length lens, and the eyepiece fits a 35mm diameter lense.
