This model allows you to mount your iPhone on a tripod with a quick-release plate. I realized that my phone's camera is better at this point than my old digital camera, and wanted to get some use out of the tripod. One file puts the iPhone in landscape mode --- and the other puts it in | portrait mode. Hope you get to use it like I am using mine now!
