This case stands out due to its protection of the edge and face glass, a feature lacking in other cases. Its design also ensures a snug fit without loose halves. The case is created with two parts that click together tightly. Print both separately using high-resolution settings and appropriate filament diameter. Avoid rafts or supports; the model includes "mouse ears" for easy handling. Minimal post-printing work - filing/sanding - is needed, taking about 2 minutes. The case was printed on a Replicator 2 in PLA with specific ReplicatorG/Skeinforge settings. Print time varied from 3 to 7 hours depending on the half. Removing the case requires caution to avoid scratches; use shims like bamboo skewers or nylon zip-ties. The Solidworks file is provided for modification purposes, with "Top Cutoff" and "Bottom Cutoff" elements that can be suppressed/unsuppressed to select the desired half of the case, then saved as an STL file.
