IR Sensor Holder

IR Sensor Holder

thingiverse

This is a simple holder to attache an IR sensor. This was created to hold a sensor that turned speakers on and off with the television. This creation allows the sensor to be located close to the TV sensor without the need to attach it to the TV. The shape is laser cut from acrylic and a hot air gun is used to heat the plastic along the line where it needs to bend. When it become flexible the bottom bits can be carefully bent in to position using a wooden stick. Then two blocks of wood are used to hold it in position while it cools and hardens.
