Iris Door Box v4

Iris Door Box v4

thingiverse

This is a rework of Countspatula's Iris Door Box. It's designed in FreeCAD and completely parameterised. There's a small manual within the FreeCAD file with some explanations about the parameters. Some of the design aspects have been changed: The functionality of the ring and the base are swapped. The leaves are made out of 2 parts, a top and a bottom, that are positioned at an offset so they support each other. The cut-outs in the leaves lock them in open and closed position. The screws in the picture are covered with the screw caps I posted before. How I Designed This FreeCAD running on a Linux computer offcourse... and plenty of coffee.
