ISA SD Adapter Hack PURPOSE: Great for "vintage" computer restores that use the IDE interface. Replace dead/loud mechanical drives with a reliable and convenient SD cards with this adapter. I have used these SD adapters with everything from DOS to Windows 98 (and various hardware) and they work great! Just make sure the SD card size is compatible with the limits of the OS and a decent brand. (Don't expect DOS 6.2 to recognize that 512GB SD Card) I wanted to mount the SD adapter in an external location so I could easily swap them for experimenting with different operating systems, image backups or to just easily transfer files between computers. (so here we are) Adapter Used for this design: (Available on Amazon - See Pic) Manufacturer: Mustpoint Desc: SD SDHC MMC to 3.5" 40Pin Male IDE Adapter Card Big PCB SD-3.5 IDE PC Board Labeled: SD35VC0 Dimensions: 80.2mm * 70.2mm Design can easily support other SD adapters, just need to move around the mounting holes in OpenSCAD. Should print without any supports if your printer is dialed in. Just cleanup print with a razer blade. BIG THANKS to the people mentioned in the original code (which I hacked) for this design, and releasing it to the public.
