Couldn't resist another iteration It's addictive, Back 2 Basics... Updated: There is no real reason this needs to be 2 parts, just how I started the model, now I've added some working parts it looses the clean lines it had, I could get them back if I made it one part. The way the top part locks into the other part could be altered so as to hide the lock clip, or that whole mechanism could replace the ones currently on the bottom of the U shaped part, which is what I would prefer a sliding mechanism there. Also the weak part of all these models appears to be at the bottom of the channel in the Nasa Fitting, it looks like its about 2mm, which makes me and others think 2mm in other places is ok, I'm not so sure it is, which is why ive strengthened it with the nodules on the sides.
