Italian Fuel QD Clip Replacement (Ducati Scrambler)

I broke the QD clips on a Ducati Scrambler while removing the lines from the underside of the tank on accident. I couldn't find anyone selling replacements for just the clips, so I made this thing. So far it's working for me, YMMV. I found that the same clip is used on a large number of Italian vehicles. Fiat Diesel fuel filters, Vespa/Piaggio/Moto Guzzi fuel pumps. Probably some others too... The pics I posted were from a quick prototype. One of the models is 6mm tall, one is 5mm tall. Use which one works best. IMPORTANt UPDATE: Since making these, I discovered a leak. The factory clip included a collar that pushed the o-rings downward on the shaft and kept them secure. It's possible to install this and have the o-rings creep out of their seats, and they'll leak. I got lucky when I first made this and the o-rings seated properly, but it was just that - luck. Since then I machined a small collar that properly pushes the o-rings into place. You could also re-use the collar from the factory mount, if you didn't toss it. Please make sure that these clips are not used entirely on their own without the collars in place.
