IXS Enterprise

It took me a while, but this is my interpertation of the conceptual hyper-light spacecraft "IXS Enterprise". From Wikipeadia: IXS Enterprise is a conceptual interstellar superluminal spacecraft designed by NASA scientist Dr. Harold G. White for the goal of achieving warp travel. The spacecraft would use a modified version of the Alcubierre drive which uses exotic matter (not to be confused with antimatter) to travel faster than light. While the concept had been out since 2013 the design of IXS Enterprise was popularized in June 2014 after a series of media outlets reported on the conceptual artwork done by Dutch artist Mark Rademaker in collaboration with NASA. According to Mark Rademaker, over 1,600 hours have been spent on the conceptual artwork that he created. I did a few inquiries, and found that no model company wanted to print this model, but I wanted one anyway and the paper model would not be sufficient. I used the schematics available on line to create this model, which I think does a pretty decent job of representing the original graphics. After getting Mr. Rademaker's (https://mark-rademaker.blogspot.com/) permission to publish my version (provided no profit is made, of course) I have finally got it to a point where I feel I can share it with you. It takes a bit of time and patience to build, but I think the result is well worth it! Enjoy!
