Turn your Mostly Printed CNC into a Laser Engraver and Cutter. You can engrave and cut all kind of plastics, light wood, etc. For cutting only thin materials are suitable. When you use this mount, then first adjust the laser as described in the manual and then add the lid. The fan will cool the laser module (important for the life-time) and blow away dust from the lense. The mount was tested with the IE version of the CNC with 25mm conduits. What else do you need? 30mm 12V fan 4x M3x16 bolts for the fan 2x M3x16 bolts to mount the laser module 6x M3 nut 3x M4x16 bolts for the lid 2x M4x20 bolts to tighten the conduit mount 5x M4 nut Safety first! When you are using a laser module ALWAYS wear eye protection! Even scattered radioation can make you blind. Your eyes cannot shut quick enough to avoid damage! A laser is no toy so please don't handle it like one. Also be careful with the fume that is generated while engraving. Use a filter with activated carbon or at least keep your windows open.
